Fall…..ummm I would have to say that I look forward to Thanksgiving… The cooking, the stress caused from the cooking, and then enjoying all the delicious food anddd last – spending time with my family. I cant wait
Decorating the house in fall colors and things that remind us to be thankful and making, eating and drinking things that have pumpkin in them (like pumpkin bread or pumpkin lattes) and smelling harvest style candles burning. I LOVE fall!
My favorite fall activity is reading curled up with a blanket drinking some hot chocolate OR driving through the mountains to look at the leaves.
Every season I say, “this is my FAVORITE season”… so of course now that it’s Fall, I’ve been enjoying all the harvest decorations and smells. My favorite thing about fall is Pumpkin Bread. Simply that… a tradition that started back in kindergarten (yes, the recipe is on ancient carbon paper). It can ONLY be made in fall (not a day before or after!)… yes, it truly requires sifting the dry ingredients before adding it to the pumpkin mixture..it must be made in double recipes because it’s too good not to share… and last but not least it must be made to the music of George Winston’s piano CD “December” (ironic, huh? =) ). Oh.. and I was reminded that it is my favorite thing because it was the FIRST thing I ever served my husband before we dated =)
I have a new favorite fall activity. Reading what my favorite youngest daughter and her friends enjoy about this season.
Favorite Fall activities!
FALL = PUMPKIN SPICE LATTES!!!!!!!!!!
FALL = Vibrant colors as the leaves on the trees change colors- long walks!
FALL = exercising outside without sweating as much!
FALL = the crunch, crunch, crunch of leaves below your feet (and they don’t get you wet like the crunch, crunch, crunch of snow!
FALL = NEBRASKA FOOTBALL and the MLB WORLD SERIES
FALL= Thanksgiving- pies, family, and stuffing (who cares about the turkey- bring on the sides)
One of my favorite memories is last year when my parents came out for Thanksgiving! My mom helped me make my first turkey and it was delicious! Thanks mom!
I LOVE FALL! I was so sad to miss it last year and so thankful that I get to see both the Carolina and New England versions this year. Watching the leaves change just reminds me how God can make even dying beautiful. God’s creation has been such a comfort to me.
I guess I would have to say that I just love being able to pull out my sweatshirts and cozy up with a good book, but then there is Apple Cider and pumpkin milk shakes to enjoy! I just love Fall and all the beautiful colors around. The crisp mornings and warm afternoons. Just a great over all time of the year.
I enjoy pumpkin picking, watching college football, apple cider, & still being able to go to the beach
I don’t know if it counts as an activity , but I look forward to fall because I get to wear jeans and sweaters. I wore jeans almost all summer (despite the 90 and 100 degree heat), but it feels so good to have true jeans weather again.
I guess if I need to choose an actual activity, I would have to say I like pumpkin shopping. We always go as a family and decorate the outside of the house as a family, too. Makes for good memories.
In the fall, I love flying with my husband and admiring all the beauty from above!
I love fall! I have always liked fall because I was born in fall. I love the way the leaves changes to all there beautiful colors. I like taking walks in the fall and enjoying the beauty that the Lord has blessed us with.
Pinteresting pretty much sums up my fall activities.
My favorite fall activity is planting seasonal plants and walking or running in the season weather.
My favorite fall activity is sitting outside, enjoying the weather and watching the kids play!
Pumpkin Pickin’!!
I love to make pumpkin pies and butternut squash soup!
