…these are a few of my favorite things…
Christmas is less than a week away! :::squeal::: It sure did get here fast, no?
Before we tear into our Christmas presents on Christmas day, I couldn’t let the season pass without sharing my pretty packages.
Do you like brown paper packages tied up with string too?
Well, that’s the direction I decided to go this year with my Christmas wrapping. And I’m in love!
I used Kraft Paper and Red Baker’s Twine from Olive Manna {after I saw this post by Holly Mathis}. And blank tags and mini-clothespins from Jo-Ann’s. How easy, but how fun!
I hand-stamped each tag with brown distressing ink from Michael’s and letter stamps I found in the Dollar Spot at Target.
The hand-stamping totally adds to the charm and was well worth the time it took! To give myself a bit of a head start, I went ahead and stamped, “To {blank} Love The Qs” {Well, not really the Q’s, but go here for that explanation.} So all I had to do was go back and fill in the name once the present was wrapped.
Cute, no?
…when the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I’m feeling sad…I simply remember my cute Christmas gift from Jenna…and then I don’t feel so bad!
{Look, Mom! I shot in Aperture Priority! Yay!}

Love this Jenna! I wrapped the gifts for the adults of the family in craft paper with either green or red ribbon. I love the simplicity of it.
I think I’m going to have to borrow this idea for next year!! I love to wrap but I always stress over the ribbon. This looks so easy, but yet so wonderful!
