I’ve had this post sitting in my drafts waiting to be posted since – oh…January! Yikes! Stuff just kept coming up! Which is great, but I’m so excited to finally be posting this!
Way back in ol’ Jan, I wrote…
I’ve got several “little” projects left uncompleted. Maybe it’s the new year or now that the holiday rush is over or just because the mood has struck, but I’ve been in the mood to wrap them up! {But apparently not in the mood to get them posted!}
One project being the gallery wall {doesn’t that sound so professional?} in Miss M’s room. It started way back before she was born with a white framed mirror over the toy shelf. Then I had some other things to add, so down came the mirror and up they went. But then I got some new items, so of course, had to go at it again.
You get to see from version 2.0 to version 3.0.
Here’s what it looked like to start with. {It seems I always get motivated to start projects in the late afternoon when the light is blah. Sorry.}
And these were the things that needed to be added.
Do you recognize the chalkboard from this post? Yeah, it got moved to her room, but never got hung.
There was already a spot for the chalkboard and the little striped frame. See?
But I also wanted to add in the mirror and the new “Be Filled with Joy” artwork.
Speaking of…Don’t you just love that piece? It’s by Katie Daisy who sells on Etsy at The Wheatfield. I’ve been in love with her work for quite a while now, and Christmas seemed the perfect time to gift Miss M a lovely piece of artwork!
Here are a few others that I love. {I couldn’t resist! And picking one was such a hard decision!} And they’re only $15! I think that’s a great price for a gorgeous art print.

Right, so back to Miss M’s room.
With the addition of those new pieces of course everything had to be rearranged. The first time around I did it myself, but this time I employed the slave labor help of my hubby to hang some of the bigger pieces.
He had a little help himself.
We used 3M hooks on some things {love those} and nails for the rest.
And here’s what it looks like today!
Love, love, love!
{insert happy dance here}
And…there’s still room for the art wall to grow on either side which makes me happy too.
I was going to go into more detail about what’s on her wall, but I think I’ll save that for another post. Hopefully I can give you some ideas of “art” you can try too!
The before was okay, but I’m in love with the after!

I LOVE the after look. It is just so pretty and put together well.
I LOVE the after, too!!
