I’m So Happy! {My Dining Room Table is Here!}

So here it is! The day we’ve all been I’ve been waiting for!

I told you about my dining room table saga way back when. And I told you about how I ordered a table from Joss & Main.

What I didn’t tell you is that the table was back-ordered. :( Boo.

But I’ll give this to Joss & Main – they have incredible customer service! When I called about my table, they were extremely professional and treated me respectfully and were on top of my situation in a flash. When I asked them to shoot me an email with the updated info, they didn’t bat an eye. I spoke to three people at different times, and each one was just as professional as the next. It’s been years since I worked for an interior designer, but these guys treated me with the respect and courtesy I would have expected when I was placing “big money” purchases for an interior design company. In short – Joss & Main rocks, and I will definitely order through them again!

Pictures! You want pictures! I know…

So first of all, I was realllllly nervous I wasn’t going to be there when they delivered it because they didn’t show up between the designated hours and I had a meeting I had to go to. Well…thank the Lord! They delivered it way late, so I was home from my meeting when the guy pulled  up in the huge semi to deliver my table!

:::squeal, squeal, squeal!:::

Then I had to wait for Nolan to get home. Oh, the agony!

But when it came time to open the box I was beyond excited! I was so giddy and skipping around. {Yes, I’m a complete dork and I’m totally okay with that.} This picture does not even come close to doing my giddiness justice!

My wonderful man assembled the whole thing for me.

Oops! Nolan, I think that’s upside down!

No, for real, he did it that way on purpose.

So!

I tried to take pictures for you, but because of the backlighting from the window they are all dark. Boo…

This is the best one I could get. If you follow me on Instagram, you already saw it. {I was prepping for a party. Can you tell?}

Isn’t it beautiful?!

dining room table, monastery table, table from joss and main, mastercraft table, mastercraft monestary table, restoration hardware like table, gray washed dining room table

This table is so huge and I’m so in love! It can easily seat 8 and if we squish a little it could seat 10. Who wants to come over for dinner??

Going from a table that was almost too small for our family to a table that I love that is nicely too big for our family is fantastic!

I’m over the moon!

Did you spot the chairs in the last picture? I’ve so got to tell you about those too! We’ll save that for another post though, ‘k? For now I just have to keep grinning about my lovely new table!
