It’s a Good Day

I was watching this old movie the other day and noticed some signs in the background that I LOVED.

(Have you seen this before??  It’s BBC’s version of Elizabeth Gaskell’s book North & South [which, by the way, is free on Kindle right now] and is now on Netflix.  I thought it was great!  A bit like Jane Austen, only a bit more serious than her style.)

This is one of those moments!

The style from this time period has made it’s way around again and it’s everywhere.

I decided to try for myself and painted one.

It didn’t come out like I had hoped,
and I still may make some changes, but I like it!
