One sweet blog friend will win…
Did your heart just skip a beat like mine?
:::sigh:::
You can guarantee that each thing here would find a happy spot in my home.
Let’s go in for some close-ups of theses beauties…
{1} Gorgeous lantern I found for you at Home Goods | {2} Pink Magnolia candle | {3} 2 pink flower knobs {these totally remind me of Anthropologie knobs, but they aren’t} | {4} a lovely slightly tarnished silver bowl I spied for you while visiting one of my favorite stores ::cough.cough.goodwill.cough.couch:: {I personally like the tarnished look, but if you don’t, I bet it’d clean up pretty nicely} | {5} ohhh…you’ll love this…West Elm’s Favorite Throw in gray and cream stripes {that bottom picture is from their site so you can see the stripes}. It is soooooo soft. | {6} A sweet Privet House {yes, I included Privet in both my giveaways!} chalkboard
Now if the winner decides they’d prefer not to win, I know a good home for these lovely things. J/k, y’all, j/k.

The best gift I have ever recieved from a person is a note from my husband telling me to pack my bags, he was going to pick me up and take me away for the night. I was told I could shop, eat at a nice restaurant, go to a ballgame if I wanted and stay in a wonderful hotel for the night. It meant so much to me that he thought of this.
One of the best I have ever received was an anniversary weekend getaway from my husband. It was our fifth anniversary and money was super tight. Paul had received several Home Depot gift cards for his birthday. He used the gift cards for work and got reimbursed, then took the money and bought us two nights at the Country Club in Weston. The package included spa treatments for two and a round of golf for two. Since Paul is a true man’s man, he wouldn’t be caught dead in a spa, and we don’t golf, soooo…….I got four spa treatments and a new hair do, too! I felt so pampered and relaxed but the greatest gift was his sacrifice and time!
The best gift I ever received was my first white Christmas
Feedback…keep this blog going…so helpful, I know. But I just love it!
My iPad from my husband for Christmas.
Best gift I ever received was my 16th birthday trip to London with my dad. Saw the sights, walked in the rain, and got to experience it all with the most wonderful dad in the world. (Corny, but true).
Keep this up, ladies. You both are an inspiration!
The best gift I got was a guitar from my husband. I had been thinking about trying out the guitar for awhile and just mentioned it in passing to him. I really didn’t think he was listening and then 2 months later for Christmas he surprised me with a guitar. It was so sweet and really showed me how much he listens to me!
Extra comment……
Love the simplicity of what you do!
Best gift I ever received – my son. he is the sunshine of my life.
Best gift would have to be trips. Starting at 14 I stopped asking for birthday gifts and instead asked for plane tickets, usually to visit family. Way better than the stuff my friends were getting at the time.
Other than Jesus and my family
, my favorite gift would be this week! My husband took all our kids to vbs all week, so I got do get lots of stuff done and just enjoy quiet. Wonderful.
Best gift… salvation! I know this is the churchy answer.. but, it’s true! On a more less- spiritual side…and more recently, the 30 days of gifts from all my family and friends to celebrate my 30th birthday =)
To answer the feedback question…. I think that what you guys are doing is great… I especially love the blogs regarding crafts and food! Keep it up =)
I just recently found your blog and I love how everything you post seems to fit with my life. I really enjoy your adventures and my feedback would be keep up the good work!
My very favorite gift was my engagement ring. More than the jewelry itself was the promise behind it.
The best gift I ever received was the charm bracelet my mother wore during her teens and 20s. It is covered in charms commemorating special occasions, charms given to her by childhood friends, trip souvenirs and even a replica of the wedding set my father gave her. Words cannot describe just how much that bracelet means to me.
I’ve said it before so I don’t know if my feedback will be much help, but I love your book recommendation posts. From what I can tell, we have similar taste in books (and we both read a lot!) so I look to your posts for inspiration!
I think my husband is one of the best gifts I ever received even when I prayed for several months that God would change hid heart because I wasn’t interested in a relationship:). I’m not sure I have any helpful feedback for you. I love that you share your life honestly, but I must admit that snapshot Sat is probably my favorite!
The best gift I’ve ever received just happened 3 months ago when my soon to be husband proposed to me! He took me out to dinner at the first place we had our first date at then took me to bed and breakfast inn for a weekend where he had rose petals all over the ground, a cake, strawberry and chocolate, champagne, bridal magazines, a wedding planner book, and took pictures of our puppy in a t-shirt that said my mommy and daddy are getting married! It was by far the best gift ever to know I’ll get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend! Thank you for allowing me to enter this giveaway, ya’ll are too sweet!
My kindle fire was a nice surprise, as I was reading books on my tiny iphone screen.
the best gift we received is my 2 boys! who were both sweet surprises!

Too many to name but I do remember my grandmother sacrificially giving me the fringed suede jacket she was sure I wanted for Christmas when I was 15. She was more excited than I was!
The best gift I received from a person was a week at a beachfront condo in NC with my husband and two of my sons. Dave was at Word of Life as was his usual choice.
A ring from my great aunt!
My husband surprised me with a puppy that I was in love with.
Best gift ever was a new wedding ring on our 15th wedding anniversary!
One of the best gifts I ever received was my hubby letting me go out with my mom on Mother’s Day just the two of us. We went to dinner and shopping with no time pressure to be home. He fed the kids, gave them baths (which I must confess he usually does on his nights off!), did the whole “bedtime routine” and got them all in bed just so I could have this special “girl time” with my mom! It was SO much nicer than all going out to dinner WITH the kids. He’s the BEST!
I love the recipes and tips for hosting/decorating because I need as much help as i can get in all those areas!!!
The best gift I ever received was something my hubby thought up after the birth of my 4th son. I had received a mother /child necklace after Stephen was born, but he took the necklace back and had each child’s birthstone put into the same necklace. I loved the suprise and the sentiment.
