What a fun week! I kind of liked having the 4th of July in the middle of the week! Kind of like a mini-weekend to break things up.

In the afternoon I met up with a friend who I’ve known since high school. Longtime friendships like that are rare, and I’m so grateful for my friendship with Sarah {not the dear friend Sarah that I blog with – another Sarah}.
While we were at the beach we saw a guy knock-out cold on the ground. I almost thought I was going to have to use my brand-new CPR training! But there were other folks gathered around him, and he was breathing, so an ambulance was called, and my skills were not needed. ::whew::
