I <3 AstroBrights

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Astrobrights Papers by Neenah Paper. All opinions are 100% mine.

I can’t believe that T and I will be beginning our 1st grade year in homeschooling in just a few short days. Wow…the summer has flown!

You know the drill – back-to-school {even for homeschoolers} involves stocking up on school supplies. I used to LOVE to pick out new notebooks and pencils and all that jazz, it kind of gives you that extra boost of excitement to start the school year, right?! {Okay, so I still love picking out school supplies. :) } Anyone else out there like me?

And you know one bright! shiny! pretty! thing I love for school?  – AstroBrights paper.

I know what you’re thinking – if this is a sponsored post they’re paying you to say that – but I’m telling you – I’ve loved this stuff for years. I remember using it when I was in school {many years ago}. We loved all the bright colors and options.

Nolan even uses the bright yellow to invoice his clients so it will catch their attention. {No lie!}

So I headed over to Office Depot to pick myself up a package, and snapped a few pictures so you could see all the fantabulous color options.

Oh wait, that’s only half of the options!

Here’s the other half…

I know, right?! Overwhelmingly brilliant! I don’t know of any other paper that comes in so many color choices.

I love having choices. :)

It was a tough decision between theses pretty multi-packs.

I finally made Mr B pick his favorite because I couldn’t decide. :)

Good choice, right? I think he’s knows what his mama likes!

Is it wrong to love a package of paper? Because I just love these papers…

I love that this paper is a little heavier than a typical copy paper but not as stiff as cardstock. It’s SO versatile! And it really stands out and gives projects some extra pizzazz.

So what can you use it for?

Here’s what I use it for!

I already told you that Nolan uses it invoiving his clients. And he just mentioned to me that maybe he should use a different color for past due clients. Hey, I’m all for it!

But I’ll most definitely use it for the covers and spines of notebooks. Print on it; color on it; stamp it up – whatever. I even like to punch holes in it and use it like you would use divider tabs. The bright colors make the sections distinct.

How about punching holes in it and making super-fun confetti?

Stick some of that confetti it in an evelope with a party invite? So fun!

Even these punched papers look cool! {Stationary, anyone?}

We’ll be doing some lapbooking this year for school, and this paper is pratically meant for bright, happy lapbooks! I probably won’t use it for the pockets {which need something a little heavier}, but it’s perfect for all the other pieces.

{This is a lapbook we made at a friend’s house. I’m honestly not sure what kind of paper we used, but I do believe the AstroBright would work just fine.}

AstroBrights paper would be great for just about any craft project you could think of!

Got any good ideas? I’d love to hear them!

AstroBright would love to hear about them too! They are hosting a “Make Something AstroBright” design challenges over on the Astrobrights on Facebook page. Check it out for great inspiration, and join in the fun! I hear there are prizes involved!

They’ve also got a “Give a Brighter Year” sweepstakes going on where you could win a cash prize and school supplies valued at $30,000 for a school of your choice. No, homeschoolers, that doesn’t mean us. ;) But I’m sure there are schools in your local area that would be so grateful to win! Click on that link there to be taken to the “Give a Bright Year” Facebook page where you can enter.

So go forth and make your projects AstroBright!
