You know that foaming hand soap that is pretty much becoming the norm?
They’ve been selling it at Bath and Body Works for quite a while now.

At first I didn’t prefer it… but now I love it… and the kiddos do too!
(Of course! Who doesn’t love a bunch of tiny little bubbles in their hand?!)
Well… turns out, it’s pretty simple to whip up your own. (and quite a bit cheaper too!)
Though I LOVE Bath and Body Works’ scents, I can’t justify spending that much every time we run out of soap. It will remain a treat to have it every once in a while when they’re having a good sale… otherwise, making our own is a GREAT option.
Here’s how…
I saved the dispenser from my previous Bath and Body Works soap… and the labels came off surprisingly easy.

Pick up some liquid hand soap at a place of your choosing.
(We’ve found some great scents at Bed Bath and Beyond for $1 a bottle. You can even use body wash.)
Pour in one part soap to two parts water and then shake it up.

The End.
Try it! So simple, and saves a lot of money!

Since it’s only one part soap, you could even buy the more concentrated version of the Bath and Body Works soap (like the creamy version) and stretch it with the 2 parts water in this recipe to make it last way longer than usual, and still get your treat of having fancy smelling soap!
I’ve made my own foaming soap like this before and I love it! I’ve even used dish soap in a pinch.
I am going to try this! I am loving these practical tips! Thanks.
