Have you seen this clearance cart before???
And it’s at Home Depot.
[in case you didn't gather that from the bright orange wall and cart. LOL]
I came across is several months ago, and wondered why I hadn’t sought it out before!
They do keep it in the waaaay back of the store by the lumber… so that may have had something to do with it!
But, do you see those prices on there?
You can find anything from trim, to plywood, to bead board, to 2x4s, etc, etc, etc…
I wanted to share exactly how awesome this cart is, and why this could be a Simple Solution for you.
Since I discovered it, we have found so much useful stuff on here.
For instance… before Simon’s birthday party,
I found a piece of lauan (thin plywood with a smooth finish) for $2.01,
and that’s what we made this pirate ship photo prop out of!
(which cost a total of $3.99 to make!)
2 pieces of postboard = $1
1 dowel rod for the flag = 98c
and paint and scrap wood that we already had
Can’t beat that!
Last week while my husband was making his rounds around the store…
I went back to check out this cart and found a piece of bead board… it had been cut down to 6′ from 8′,
therefore was clearance worthy. :) Lucky me!
I got it for $2.01.
They sell those sheets for $21.43 usually.
[uncut, of course]
So, we [Jonny] did an impromptu update in our master bathroom!
(this project only cost a total of $17.75)
bead board = $2.01
trim = $5
6′ of quarter round = $3.96
caulk = $1.78
towel hook = $5 (from Habitat for Humanity ReStore)
and paint that we already had
So, there’s another little tip for you!
Go check the cart at your Home Depot!
There are projects waiting to happen!

So, yes, the clearance cart is a cool discovery. Have to check it out. But your bathroom?????? Sarah!!! It’s gorgeous!!
Your bathroom looks wonderful! I love that cart!
