Blogging Pains

Dear Friends & Readers,

I’m not sure what this blog is becoming!

It started out as a place to share crafts and projects and DIY doings around the house.

And as a catch-all for anything else Sarah and I wanted to talk about.

But I’ve noticed that you all seem to connect with the ponderings of my heart.

And I want to share those too.

Because more than anything I want this space on the internet to be a place that points you to Jesus.

Whether it’s through my house, a project, or just what I’m learning.

I hope that you leave encouraged and looking to Him.

I feel like my heart has taken over as I’ve spilled about our miscarriage and Ferris Wheel Perspective and Barbs.

I don’t want to leave out what I’m doing around the house, because that’s a huge part of me and what I love.

And I know you guys love that too!

But I’m not sure how to make those two come together in one cohesive package here on the blog!

So I hope you’ll stick with me as this blog goes through growing pains. As I figure out what this space here on the net needs to be.

I hear over and over about niche blogging and blogging primarily around a “niche” – mommyhood or homeschooling or home decor or cooking or whatever! And…I guess that’s just not me. Not yet anyway. I’m a jack of all trades, and I guess this blog reflects that.

I hope you’ll love me anyway, as you follow me along this eclectic journey. :)

With love,

Jenna

I for one find your blogs inspiring and at times I am left looking in on my soul after a post.
You are as unique as your readers. Just be you and let it go where it goes.

When my blog gets up, it’s going to be a little bit of this and that like I told you. I understand the whole niche blogging, especially to keep a following, but you are a real person behind that computer screen. People like real.
I don’t think it’s a negative to your blog to share “you” but I’m new to blogging.

My blog is the same way– a hodgepodge of different things. Niche blogging may be “the thing,” but I think people like variety if they want to get to know someone.

Life is eclectic and it only seems natural that your blog would reflect that. I like the variety!
