I have been so blessed in my life. I grew up in a military home. My father, in fact, is still in the Air Force… and I’m very proud of him! My mom was always working hard to hold things together while my dad was away (which was quite a bit). She worked a full-time job while taking care of us. (What a woman!) I have an older brother that has given me a great sister-in-law, and six incredible nieces and nephews! I also have an older sister who inspires me by doing selfless work in a third-world country. I have great memories from growing up, and I am so thankful for the family that God placed me in!
When I was 24, I met this handsome guy named Jonny and I instantly (well, maybe not instantly) married him! We got married within a year of meeting each other. (I can’t believe that it’s been four years already!) We went to Maine on our honeymoon and went searching for lighthouses, kayaking and SKYDIVING! We have a beautiful, energetic, sweet, smart two (and three-quarter!) year old little girl named Karis that makes us laugh everyday. We also have an adorable, smiley, running and climbing, heart-melting 1 (+) year old named Simon.
You will probably quickly notice a few things about me if you spend any time at all reading my posts. One is that I tend to use an exclaimation point at the end of practically every sentence. … yes. I am aware. But I don’t care! LOL Another thing is that I like parenthetical statements… and the reason being is that’s how I talk! I get distracted easily, and just insert little details and then get back to what I was saying! 
(There I go again with those exclaimation points!) And one thing that I hope you will notice above everything else is that I LOVE JESUS! He is my Savior, my Friend, my Everything. You should meet Him. You’d like Him. I’ll introduce you, if you’d like!
